Can I use my Private Health Fund and Medicare at the same time?

No. For a single visit, you must choose to either claim the Medicare rebate OR use your private health insurance. You cannot "double dip" on the same appointment.

Do my 5 sessions reset every financial year?

No. The 5 sessions provided by your GP referral are allocated per calendar year (January to December). Any unused sessions do not roll over to the next year.

Can I see Dr. Paul or Dr. Taylah with this plan?

Yes. Both Dr. Paul Shanahan and Dr. Taylah Wilnierak accept Medicare management plans at our Townsville and Charters Towers clinics.
